We lost Goldie Harvey shortly after she returned from the US on Valentine’s Day 14th February 2013. She was only 31. What a loss!!! May her soul continue to rest in peace…Amen.
Susan Oluwabimpe “Goldie” Filani Harvey (23 October 1983 – 14 February 2013) was a Nigerian professional singer and a Big Brother Africa star.
Filani had won several African music awards, including the Top Naija Award. She appeared on Big Brother Africa in 2012 which was her first TV appearance. Allegedly, she and rapper Prezzo another BBA housemate had a close relationship.
After returning home to Nigeria from the 2013 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California, she complained of a headache and was rushed to hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
She was married to Andrew Harvey[citation needed]. She graduated from the University of Sunderland in 2007 with a BA in Business Management. She was 29 years old.
